We doubt that it will happen but we ll see. inconsistent, kaitlyn, collins, with republicans but also the president s strategy so far is to attack the process. i think we should note that mcconnell also attacked the witnesses. he called them unelected civil servants which has been a consistent attack line not just from republicans but from the president as well. he didn t defend the president s conduct but he did try to dismiss the stonewalling you ve seen from the white house not allowing these witnesses, the few witnesses that they want to testify or that document turnover, saying essentially that he believe that they were impeaching the president and wanted to go to the senate trial over something that he called fairly routine. of course this is a very high level of stonewalling that you re seeing from the administration over sending these witnesses despite the president saying that he would like to send them. of course they have not gone. they have not testified. as the white h ....

So many soldiers have died and so many afghans continue to die. it looks like the president didn t listen to his aides and that is the problem with his presidency. there has never been an agreement on the taliban from a cease-fire and they never said they wanted a cease-fire. there was an outline in september that involved a partial taliban cease-fire in exchange for grat gradual withdrawal of u.s. troops so i m not sure what the president was talking about yesterday in afghanistan. and he s a little inconsistent of how much of a presence in afghanistan will be for the long-term and now saying the troops will stay until a deal made and he said in the past where everybody is pulled out. you could see a position where the u.s. could safely pull out all of the troops and this art of the deal negotiating style works with the taliban. well there was. i want to praise the negotiator ....

Disappointing to the american public when they read the transcript. and retiring will herd, republican former cia officer today tweeting there is a lot in the whistle-blower complaint that is concerning. we need to fully investigate all of the allegations addressed in the letter. the first step is to talk to the whistle-blower. these are significant comment, david. again. mike turner defending in many way, but these are significant comments, aren t they? i think it s significant. it s still pretty careful, you know, to condemn. the difrnts difference is in the matter of interpretation and this is where it s getting so polarized and the democrats are saying it speaks for itself. it is so clearly corrupt and so clearly impeachable and others are saying this is crude and this is the president not being able to control himself, but not impeachable and that s where it sort of breaks down. it s sort of inconsistent with the republican view of foreign policy and national security let al ....

Many years ago, the federal government, or the congress, passed a law requiring uniform emissions standards nationwide. but, now, that part, might be considered part of their pre-emption. this is the federal government s prerogative, so therefore, they can legislate and the states cannot. but they created a unique carve-out. at the time, california had a lot of smog problems and unique problems to that state, in terms of pollution. so they had this carve-out. and california was allowed to legislate and create a higher standard, which is not that unusual. and there s more. states that adopted california s exact standards were allowed to adopt those. so you created a kind of patch work quilt. inconsistent. of emissions standards. so now that s what the administration is saying they are going back to that, and saying that california s regulation dis . no more carve-outs. right. california s regulations violate the idea of pre-emption, and they create this unequal standard natio ....
