India News: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for the next four days in northern India due to the prevailing chilly winter and dense fog. Dense to very dense fog is expected in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi until January 28. Light rainfall or snowfall is also predicted in the western Himalayan Region. Cold wave conditions have already gripped several areas, leading to low visibility and flight delays in Delhi. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that North India might experience dense fog and severe cold for the next two days, and the situation might improve thereafter.

In Bengaluru, foggy, misty and cold weather will prevail for the next of the week. While the maximum and minimum temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday are very likely to be around 30 and 13°C, the mercury may reach 16°C by the end of the week.
