New Delhi, April 4: World Bank in its latest India Development Update report has cut India's growth forecast for 2023-24 to 6.3 per cent from earlier 6.6 per cent.
If we go by the growth rate we have achieved since 2014, which is an average of 5.7% growth per year, where would we be in 2047? The answer is at $8,800 per capita. That is $4,000 less than China is today.
