The laboratories of Dr Silvia de Santis and Dr Santiago Canals, both of the Institute of Neurosciences UMH-CSIC (Alicante, Spain), have used diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging to show brain inflammation for the first moment and in considerable detail.
