Mahadev App: 'Mahadev' among 22 illegal betting apps banned, ET Telecom

“The action follows investigations conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against illegal betting app syndicate and subsequent raids on Mahadev Book in Chhattisgarh, revealing the app’s unlawful operations,” the IT ministry said in a press release. The ED has alleged that the promoters of the Mahadev app gave Baghel Rs 508 crore. The Congress party has said this is part of a conspiracy to tarnish his government’s image ahead of state elections.
