India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, highlighted the growing comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Vietnam, stating that it is a source of security, stability, and progress in the region. During his visit to Vietnam, Jaishankar visited the Indian sail training ship INS Sudarshini and emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and the ability to adapt.
Indian Naval Ships of the First Training Squadron concluded a successful visit to Phuket, Thailand, enhancing maritime cooperation with the Royal Thai Navy.
The reception was followed by an onboard visit by His Excellency Mr. Gaddam Dharmendra, Ambassador of India to Iran. He along with his team were provided a guided tour of the ship.
The ship is part of the 1st Training Squadron based at Kochi which provides ab-initio sea experience to sea trainees of the Indian Navy.
