Malaysia releases new set of general SOPs for MCO: May 2021

These SOPs, which will apply "based on dates announced by the government from time to time," include rules on maximum capacity allowed at the workplace, Aidilfitri bazaar operations, cross-state/district travel permissions and more.
In light of this, the National Security Council (MKN) has released a set of updated General SOPs for the MCO/PKP, which it states will apply "based on dates announced by the government from time to time."

New updates to note include information on inter-district/inter-state travel, attendance capacity at workplaces, extended Aidilfitri bazaar operation hours, and more. 
Malaysia's extended Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO/PKPB) and Recovery MCO (RMCO/PKPP) in designated states take effect today, for the next two weeks (29 April to 17 May 2021). In light of this, the National Security Council (MKN) has released an updated set of SOPs that need to be followed in this period.
New updates to note include information on inter-district/inter-state travel, attendance capacity at workplaces, extended Aidilfitri bazaar operation hours, and more.

Instructions, rules and SOPs under the respective Ministry / Department / Agency.
CMCO SOP For All Of Sabah.
Other instructions issued from time to time by the Health Director-General.
Movement Control

Movement within a CMCO area is ALLOWED. The Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are considered one zone and cross movement is allowed.
Movement to other CMCO areas, MCO, RMCO and EMCO areas is NOT PERMITTED except with Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) PERMISSION.
The number of passengers in a private vehicle is according to the capacity of the vehicle. However, high-risk individuals and children are discouraged from going out into public, open and crowded areas.

Meanwhile, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan and Perak will move from the CMCO to a Recovery MCO (RMCO) for the same period; and the RMCO in Putrajaya, Melaka, Pahang and more will be extended till 31 March. 
Malaysia has extended the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO/PKPB) in Selangor, KL, Johor, Penang and Kelantan by two weeks, starting from 19 March (Friday) till 31 March 2021 (Wednesday). 
Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said: "Selangor still remains under CMCO because most of the localities are still classified as red zones… all districts in Kuala Lumpur are also still red zones with an average 103 cases reported every day.
