DDC Kupwara inspects developmental works in Kalaroos block

Kupwara: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din today inspected ongoing developmental works in Kalaroos block and asked Assistant Commissioner Development and other concerned officers of Rural Development department to speed up the developmental tempo in the district especially in far flung areas.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure completion of all on-going works within the stipulated time frame. He directed them to take all necessary measures for maintaining the quality standards in construction works besides ensuring regular inspections of works and submit the inspection reports to the higher authorities.
The DDC directed the ACD to fix responsibility of poor quality works on the construction of the Tile Path at Izzgund village so that recoveries can be effected and further action under law can be undertaken against the officials involved in the execution of poor quality work. ....
