LTC was ranked number one in their Best Online Associate in General Studies Degree Programs of 2024. This comes on the heels of LTC earning their number 8 ranking in the Best Community Colleges of 2024 and number 6 as the Best Community Colleges in Illinois.

College rankings agency Intelligent released its list of the best community colleges in Illinois and they rated Lincoln Trail College as number five. They also gave LTC the award of Best for Transfer Students. “I’m proud to see this ranking and I’m not surprised,” said Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Chancellor Dr. Ryan Gower. “The faculty and staff at Lincoln Trail College are dedicated to the success of our students and it shows. Organizations like Intelligent recognize the quality of education available at LTC.”
Louisiana Tech University’s graduate Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) program was ranked the No. 11 “Best Online Master’s in Engineering Management Programs of 2023” in the United States by Intelligent.com.
