The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed Tuesday 3 new deaths and 326 new cases of COVID-19, with 28,376 total cases in the Santa Clarita Valley. The number of cases and deaths may reflect reporting delays over the holiday. Of the three new deaths reported Tuesday, one person that passed away was between the ages of 65 and 79 and two people who died were between the ages of 30 and 49. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed Thursday the highest number of COVID-19 cases in a day since mid-April with 506 new cases. This is more than a doubling of new cases in two weeks. To date, Public Health identified 1,250,717 positive cases of COVID-19 across all areas of L.A.
