JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Law officers, community leaders, and residents are meeting to discuss ways of curbing Jackson’s soaring crime rate. The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s office are teaming up to assist law enforcement to help combat crime, but they say the effort can’t be done alone, WAPT-TV reported.
M Heidi Fleiss, 56, dubbed the "Hollywood Madam" in the 1990s when she was accused of running a Los Angeles prostitution ring, is angry that someone shot one of her parrots with a pellet gun and says she's relocating her exotic bird collection from Pahrump, Nev., to Missouri.
"The bottom line is ... there are no jurisdiction lines that will prevent us from coming for you," FBI Special Agent in Charge Jermicha Fombey said.
