An independent panel of experts investigating the 2014 disappearance of 43 students from a rural teachers’ college in Mexico announced they’re withdrawing from their probe because the government had failed to give them access to vital information.

The five-member Interdisciplinary Group of Independent Experts said they were withdrawing from the investigation due to roadblocks, as the government had failed to give them vital information.

In their sixth and final report, the five-person panel said all their gathered evidence suggests Mexican authorities were complicit in the disappearance.
