FocusMaine is a private sector-led initiative that partners with other Maine organizations to spur business growth.

Over the past four years, partnerships have created 800 jobs, supported over 160 companies, attracted new funding and engaged over 2,100 interns.

FocusMaine and Educate Maine on Thursday announced the Equity in Internships Program for students who are Black, Indigenous or people of color (BIPOC). RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – If you are looking for a high-tech job, your prospects of finding one in the Triangle and North Carolina are improving. So says a new report. National IT organization CompTIA ranked North Carolina No. 4 on its list of the top states for tech job postings. The state recorded 12,726 total postings in February, an increase of 2,949 since January.
