Walney School record strange underwater sounds as part of 'sound day'
LISTEN to the underwater sounds of Walney’s allotment ponds online. Ponds at the Isle of Walney Community growing space on Mill Lane have bee recorded as part of a ‘sound walk day’ with Walney School organised by Art Gene. The sounds were captured by Sound Intervention Ltd, a company who specialise in sonic art installation, street performance, and on location sound.
