A Champion For All Seasons Pat Quinn, the instigator of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and a 2015 Irish America Hall of Fame inductee. We are saddened to learn that Pat Quinn, who helped raise $220 million to fight A.L.S., by promoting the Ice Bucket Challenge in 2014, died on Sunday in Yonkers, N.Y., seven years after he learned he had the disease.
