Fitbit on Wednesday recalled 1.7 million of its Ionic smartwatches used for tracking steps and other activity due to the risk of batteries overheating and burning wearers.
The recall was issued Wednesday following a slew of reports of the watch battery overheating, including at least 115 incidents in the U.S. and another 59 internationally.
