IRCTC Down News: In a disconcerting turn of events for Indian Railways passengers, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is currently grappling with technical issues, leading to the temporary suspension of e-ticket booking services. The glitch has sparked concerns among users who are unable to access the platform for ticket reservations.
Around 14.5 lakh reserved tickets are booked on daily basis in Indian Railways, out of which more than 80% e-tickets are booked through IRCTC.
IRCTC has released a warning against a fake website and APK file of app which scammers are using to steal money from IRCTC users.
Users were warned by IRCTC to exercise caution while replying to mails that could have been faked in the name of ITCTC.
