Distinguished Belarusians honored with state awards MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decrees to honor 78 representatives of various professions with state awards, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader. In recognition of the many-year productive work in government bodies, a big personal contribution to the development of integration processes in the Eurasian space, consistent efforts to protect Belarus' interests, and the implementation of the state policy the Order of Fatherland 2nd Class was conferred on Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich. The Order of Fatherland 3rd Class was bestowed upon Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova. She received this award in recognition of her productive public and social activities, a big personal contribution to the development of legislation, parliamentarism and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
