Trump on Trial New York v. Donald Trump

stormy daniels. the prosecution from district attorney alvin bag's office is beginning to make the case of a conspiracy all at the direction of the then candidate for president of the united states in 2015, one that would go well into 2016 and into the days leading up to the 2016 election. >> chuck, the importance for the prosecution of repeating what exactly the charges are and the words criminal conspiracy, that i just see in the first five minutes have been repeated a number of times by the prosecution. how do you see this going forward, chuck? >> i don't mean this as a criticism at all, jose. this type of opening is entirely predictable. this is exactly what you would expect a good prosecuor to tell a jury at the outset. you would pick a team. this is about a conspiracy to cover up a relationship and in order to effectuate that conspiracy, to make it work, you

i feel strongly that we need a big change right now, and i'm behind the front runner, donald trump. the big issues here seem to be the economy, the border and abortion. we will see a total change in the culture of our country, but that would take, first of all, embracing ofjesus christ himself, if you really want to make it work, but at the bare minimum we need to have these moral absolutes. if you really want to make it out... does mr trump embracejesus christ? yes, oh yes, i've heard all the stories about him, but when he first game president he was dialogued with a lot of good people, who caused him to think about some of his positions and he gave his heart to the lord. that is the only way this stuff works. one's run, one's done. kimberley and her husband can't agree on who to back. i used to be a don supporter, as i was saying. a donald trump supporter? a trump supporter, and the reason

they used years of data, people who had showed some support for donald trump, whether it be in fundraising or gone to an event but never caucused. now, they're trying to bring those people out to caucus. the big question is will it work, and will it work particularly under these conditions? i have been told by senior advisors they were trying to temper expectations. the polls of 30 points, they were not sure the margins were that big. do they still think donald trump is going to win? yes. but they are saying they believe that anything over 12 points would be a historic win, which is true given the history, actually. the largest margin someone has ever won by is 12 points. they were trying to say that that was what they wanted to do. of course, it's hard when every poll shows 30%. the other issue with those poll numbers, they are worried that that could deter people from coming out. saying, oh, donald trump already has so much support. they don't need me, as well. again, these were things they were thinking about before they even saw this forecast, but, of

we've got our own show to make, so let's get on with this episode of newscast. newscast. newscast from the bbc. hello, it's james here in the studio in westminster. and it's chris in westminster, too. here we are, and one story that's dominated this week, chris, hasn't it, which has been this post office scandal? but there's one story going to dominate next week, i think, quite likely, in so much as we can forecast. what's that? it is rwanda. so it's the return of the conversation about how you deal with illegal migration. and the government is keen to have this idea of sending folk to rwanda. as newscasters will be aware, it's been getting relatively long in the tooth as an idea, but it hasn't yet happened for a million and one legal reasons. there are also very transparent differences of opinion within the conservative party about how you do it, how you make it work,

can you make it work, and what's the best way of making it work? there was a bit of a to—do before christmas, a lot of noise, and then in the end the government won, and won relatively comfortably. but the argument that was had then amongst those of differing views was, "well, this is the start of this conversation and the time after christmas will come for a more sort of nuanced conversation about how you might, depending on your view on this, improve it." some would say strengthen it, some would say weaken it, whatever it might be, but in the eyes of those who might want to tweak it, improve it as they would see it. and that's where we're getting to, with conservative mps talking about how you do that. and then inevitably a conversation getting to around numbers, in other words, can the government assemble the numbers to pass the plan roughly as it currently stands, or will it need to change it? and if it starts doing that in one direction, what does that mean for people on the other wing of the conservative party? yeah, because more than

but it's not exclusive to voters in the red wall. conservative voters all over the country care quite strongly about it. i suppose, in that context, because we were talking to robert about the rwanda plan, it's whether the government, in pursuing the rwanda plan and then the conversation that's going on within the conservative party about how you make it work and what kind of flavour of the rwanda plan you should have, is whether kind of pursuing it and trying to make it work addresses the concerns of those 2019 conservative voters, or rather highlights the kind of failure to deal with the problem as they would see it around the whole question of illegal migration. yeah, i mean, ithought_ robert jenrick actually made some pretty compelling arguments. if you take this issue kind of almost in the abstract i and just say, you know, - some of the lines he came out with were challenging, you know, you can't be squeamish _ about this issue. it matters to people. countries that take a tough line make an impact. - the trouble is dealing. with the here and now,

Unity Lays Off 25% Of It's Work Force, Is Having A Bad Time

The bad times for Unity continue, it seems. Or, at the very least, for the ostensibly hardworking men and women that called the company home. The bad times really began late last summer when Unity decided to drastically change its pricing scheme both for future projects that used the game engine, and, somehow, retroactively as…

that's very simple. going to talk about maga republicans, trump, trump, trump. they are going to talk about january 6th. they are going to demagogue abortion and use that playbook republicans are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, islamaphobic. will it work? >> it should not work. if we let it work, we are the stupid party. i have faith in the american people. it's a choice between what you see with your own two eyes and what they tell you you should see with your own two eyes. we see the rise in crime, rise in prices. we see what's going on in the middle east and every day because of fox news and people like bill melugin and sara carter and you showing us what's going on at the border. people know what they see they're going to vote according to that. now, joe biden is nothing else. big people talk about big ideas and big policy issues. small people talk about other people. he has nothing else. his poll numbers are not just
