IN AN effort to spread the holiday spirit, Minister of Social Development and Family Services Donna Cox and some of her staff delivered gifts and food to needy families in San Juan on Christmas Day.
Speaking with reporters at Weekes Trace, off Mission Road in San Juan on Friday afternoon, Cox said one of the people identified as most in need of assistance was Tricia Pierre Straker, a 43-year-old mother of eight and she was happy to help however best she could as minister.
