Today marked the official opening of Jabil Inc.’s newly constructed healthcare manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic. Located in the free trade zone at Bajos de Haina’s PIISA Industrial Park, the plant has more than 60,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity, including 36,000 square feet of cleanroom space. Construction began in 2019. The operation supports the Jabil Regulated Industries division and will produce a variety of precision medical products, including COVID-19 test kits.
