A 6-foot boat put together by students at Rye Junior High School in New Hampshire made its way all the way to Norway, connecting students around the world.
Its GPS only worked sporadically, but after months at sea, the tiny boat landed in Norway – covered in barnacles and its sail missing, but with the notes inside still intact.
“It’s just been an adventure. Every day when we would check on (the boat), it was just crazy,” said Rye Junior High School student Jack Facella.
The little boat traveled over 8,000 miles across the Atlantic and was found by a sixth grade student in Norway
