The first occurred on Saturday, January 23, at approximately 2:45 p.m. in Stockdale. Jan 21, 2021 A McArthur man was killed as the result of a three-vehicle crash in Vinton County, Thursday morning. The crash took place around 6:00 a.m. Thursday, according to the Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Andrew McNichols, 29, had been traveling west on Wolf Hill Road when he attempted to pass another westbound vehicle that had been traveling ahead of him. Mr. McNichols is reported to have crossed into the eastbound lane where he then collided head-on with an oncoming Ford F-450 pick-up truck.
