Posted On December 30, 2020 The defending state champion Mathews High School boys’ basketball team picked right up where it left off in March to start the 2020-2021 season, crushing Charles City on the road by a 72-43 margin in the Wednesday, Dec. 23 season opener. The game also saw senior Caleb “KK” Thomas pick up his 1,000th career rebound.
