Jada Creations has won the Small Business BC Award for Best Solopreneur. Jaimie Davis, from the Gitxan and Nisga’a Nation is the owner of Jada Creations. Davis grew up in Terrace and in a video from BC Small Business says she faced racism daily. She goes on to say that now she creates to celebrate her culture and so her son doesn’t have to question his identity.
