14 Jan 2021 / 20:30 H. KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia recorded the highest number of new daily Covid-19 cases today at 3,337 cases, bringing the total number of positive cases in the country to 147,855. Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the total number of new cases, seven were imported while the remaining 3,330 cases were local transmissions. The previous highest number of daily cases was 3,309, which was recorded on Tuesday. “The number of active cases with Covid-19 infectivity is 33,989. “Fifteen new Covid-19 deaths involving nine men, aged between 53 and 81, as well as six women including two non-citizens, aged between 27 and 91, were recorded in Sabah, Selangor, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan and Johor,” he said in a statement today

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 3 — Selangor still records the highest daily case of Covid-19 at 673 cases, which is 39.5 per cent of the total 1,704 new cases for the last 24 hours. Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this brought the total positive Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 119,077 cases while the number of active cases with Covid-19 infectivity was 21,365 cases. “Of the total new cases, there are five imported cases while the domestic transmission of Covid-19 stands at 1,699 cases,” he said in a statement on the development of Covid-19 today.

He said the latest development took the total number of infections in Malaysia to 91,969, with 15,294 of them being active cases. “Of the new cases, two were imported cases who were infected abroad while the remaining 1,151 cases were local transmissions,” he said in a statement, Saturday.
