Gregory James Dilney has admitted to killing his wife Brenda after an argument in their Howie Centre, N.S., home two years ago when he was 73 and she was 71.
A 73-year-old Howie Centre man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife. Gregory James Dilney was charged during a court appearance yesterday after the death of 71-year-old Brenda Ann Dilney on March 5. He remains in custody pending an appearance back in court March 25 for a status update. Police were called to the couple’s Kings Road home earlier this month for what they described as a domestic incident. Police say Brenda Dilney was pronounced dead not long after their arrival. A 73-year-old Howie Centre man is due in Sydney court this morning on a charge of murder after a woman died Friday morning at a King’s Road home. Gregory James Dilney also lived in the home and was held in custody over the week. Regional Police say they were called to the home at around 8:00 for a reported domestic disturbance.
