May 10, 2021 Harold “Hap” Richard Eighme, 74, of Martins Ferry, Ohio died Friday, May 7, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital with family by his side. He was born to parents Joseph and Geraldine Eighme, on February 9, 1947 in Bridgeport, Ohio. Harold graduated from Bridgeport High School and received bachelor’s degree in education from Miami of Ohio where he played football. He is survived by his son, Shane Eighme and wife Andrea, his daughter, Shaye Pentino and her husband Alex, and his sister Gale Regal and her husband, Bob. Joan Lee Russell, 80, of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at her home. She was born November 1, 1940, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Laurent) Morgan. She was a retired School Teacher for Bridgeport High School, and a member of the State Retired Teachers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Norman “Bud” Russell in 2009, and a brother Thomas Morgan in 2021.
