A serial pest repeatedly charged with harassing women outside abortion clinics refused to sign bail documents because they would ban him from continuing.
James Joseph Dowling, 65, was arrested while holding a vigil outside Greenslopes Day Surgery, in Brisbane s inner south east, over the long weekend.
The anti-abortion campaigner was taken to a police holding cell to face a bail hearing on Monday in Brisbane s Magistrates Court.
But the court heard the Catholic Worker Movement member rejected the police s release papers because he objected to the conditions which would prevent him from going back to the protest before it wrapped up at 5pm on Monday.
