etichy@post-journal.com A Forestville man charged last year following a rash of burglaries in numerous towns has been indicted by a Chautauqua County grand jury. Gary Lang, 52, pleaded not guilty when arraigned Feb. 24 in Chautauqua County Court to a single charge of third-degree burglary, a class D felony. He was originally charged in January 2020 with two counts of second-degree burglary, five counts of petit larceny, third-degree criminal tampering and trespassing after an “extensive investigation” into burglaries reported over two months in the towns of Ripley, Pomfret and Gerry.
