The tweet reads, "The 90-9-1 rule is a rule of thumb for internet communities: 90% of people lurk, 9% contribute a little, 1% do most of the work. It is true on Reddit, where 25% of the most popular subreddits are administered by four people; on Wikipedia (77% is written by 1% of users!) & others." I had never heard of the 90-9-1 rule before but found it interesting since it seems to apply to mgoblog as well. Seth has mentioned a few times here that the front page gets way more traffic than the board and some people find that hard to believe. I'm not sure if he was aware of this rule or just ...
