Stunning vintage Van Tech year books emerge in union archive
Article content Everybody loves old high school yearbooks. Well, their own old yearbook — it takes something special to make a yearbook interesting to outsiders. The Vantech has it. In the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s, Vancouver Technical school students produced a yearbook with covers so colourful that they’re works of art. The bright colours and crispness of the covers is because they were done as linocuts, a technique popular with artists at the time. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
