Booths boost for charity cook book which has already raised £2500
The owners of a guesthouse have been given a welcome boost after the Keswick branch of Booths agreed to sell their charity cookbook “Bakes from the Lakes” in store. More than £2,500 has been raised from the sales of Glencoe Guesthouse owners Sally and Keith Lunson’s books to date, with pre-Christmas sales being really encouraging and helping a good cause. “Inquiries have gone quiet recently, not surprisingly with the ongoing Covid situation, but we’re hopeful that sales will pick up extraordinarily when visitors return and even more so with Booths also coming on board” said...
