Fox21Online Major Construction Project Underway Along Highway 61 in Grand Marais A Portion of Highway 61 Will Be Closed From Java Moose Heading East Through Grand Marais May 10 - Late July May 5, 2021 MnDOT is currently working to reconstruct the portion of Highway 61 just west of the city. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions for those heading into and out of the shoreline community. The project also comes with a long-overdue environmental cleanup project.
