Grateful for your family. i m sure you re fateful for them. because they have surrounded you through this experience. i know that it s not easy to speak out about these things. javon, why have you wanted to? why have you wanted to speak about this? because i just want to share my side of the story and wanted everybody to know how good a friend tate and justin were and how they were just good kids. did what they had to do. went in there, worked hard. tate always worked hard at practice. he always would give advice. he was our captain, one of our captains for our football team. so he was being a good leader and the leader he was. justin, he was just he had a great attitude with him. he was a good friend. he had a great smile. always there to make you laugh. he was such a smart kid. martha: yeah. i m glad that you re talking ....
martha: of course, i m sure. they do too, i would imagine, at this point. it s awful. javon, just watching that video of your friend, tate, talking about playing in the rain and being tough. how do you translate that? how do you help your school and your school mates to live in that spirit? always remember your oxford pride. we re one family. our coach would talk to us, he would say we work hard, have a community that works hard over it and work hard and play hard for them. so we re one family. every time we re in the huddle, we break up and go 123 family every game. we work hard for our family. coming from pontiac, oxford is my family and all the students there. martha: i want to thank you and your family. you guys are a strong supportive ....
