With COVID numbers ratcheting back up, the Chelmsford School Committee is opting to keep in place its mask-wearing policy for the upcoming year.

Wicked Local CHELMSFORD -- Spring Town Meeting will begin June 17, a measure that has sparked debate, including about the town moderator's powers and duties. Town Moderator Jon Kurland announced his plans at a March 29 Select Board meeting. Wicked Local CHELMSFORD -- The school district has adopted a new response plan for identifying close contacts of coronavirus cases, but safety and communication concerns remain.  The School Committee voted unanimously on Feb. 16 to adopt the plan, with an eye toward notification of staff, allowing for school vacation. The School Committee plans to finalize communications at its March 2 meeting.
