Talk about right place at the right time and I'm mad I missed this last night. This asteroid was extremely close to earth too at around 16,000 miles away. You might think that's not close. If they're facing east, they may have captured footage of a rare fireball soaring — and dramatically exploding — in the sky along the east coast of Florida and the Bahamas.
