PHILLIPSBURG — Prairie Horizon Agri-Energy entered into a letter of intent agreement to sell its assets to Summit Agricultural Group, according to an announcement Prairie Horizon made on Tuesday.  Based in Phillipsburg, two hours northwest of Salina, Prairie Horizon produces primarily ethanol, as well as distiller grains and corn oil. Dozens of people arrived at Roselawn Memorial Park Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the life of a fallen veteran and longtime local Saline County Sheriff’s Office employee, even though there were few present that knew her personally.  Dixie Lee Kinney, who was born on Sept. 17, 1946, in Duncan, Okla, passed away in December 2020 without much celebration. Dillons donates $15,000 for Souper Bowl of Hope campaign Jayden Smith Dillons executives presented a $15,000 check to members of Project Salina’s Souper Bowl of Hope initiative at the Dillons on Crawford Street Monday morning. This is the first donation of an earmarked $100,000 Dillons plans to distribute to Kansas communities in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary.   The Souper Bowl initiative began around the 2006 Super Bowl, with the goal of receiving 40,000 soup cans to distribute to those in need in Salina.
