The middle school knowledge bowl season kicked off with a roar when 32 teams from 14 schools descended on Eads High School for the first meet of the year.
The Eads Middle School Knowledge Bowl teams left bright and early to make the trek to Campo for a recent competition. Eighth grade students Eric Murdock, Karsten Buller, and Sophie Mitchell were joined by seventh grader Jayson Bletzacker in the eighth-grade division. Their written round score was not what they were hoping for and the first oral round did not go particularly well. However, the team members redeemed themselves in the final two oral rounds.
