Compensation of €1,000 paid for dog bite to woman's hand
The owner of a dangerous dog that bit a woman's hand leaving her without feeling in her fingers had his case struck out after he paid €1,000 in compensation. Adam Derlega (36) did not have a muzzle on his Staffordshire Bull Terrier and did not keep his dog under control while out walking at Martello Tower in Balbriggan contrary to the Control of Dogs Regulations.
