Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter and Emergency Communications Director Elora Forshee held a briefing on Wednesday to address recent statements regarding the county’s new computer-aided dispatch system, or CAD, which was recently implemented.
Emergency communications director Elora Forshee said that while there have been some instances of not responding fast enough, there's no reason to believe the CAD system doesn't work on a large scale.
