With an average nightly attendance of nearly 1,000 people each evening, this Campmeeting/Revival Meeting is one of the largest annual, week-long religious gatherings in East Texas. 3-year-old Kansas boy dies after being run over by truck Matt Rourke/AP and last updated 2021-05-18 14:55:42-04 GODDARD, Kan. — A 3-year-old boy died when he was run over by a truck driven by a family member in Goddard, Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter said. Officers were called to a home Monday evening and found the boy with "massive injuries," Easter said. The child, Kannon Agnew of Goddard, was pronounced dead at the scene. Easter said the child's father and three other children were outside when the boy stopped to change his shoes because they were on the wrong feet.

Sedgwick County detention deputy charged with unlawful relations with an inmate A Sedgwick County detention deputy has been charged with having unlawful sexual relations with a female inmate at the county jail. 40-year-old Tony LoSavio was formally charged Friday with eight counts of unlawful sexual relations.  His bond was set at $75,000 and the next court date was scheduled for May 20th.
