New rules in effect Sept. 1
The Alberta government is making changes to new rules about passing roadside workers before they take effect next month.
The Alberta Motor Association says its roadside operators are disappointed with the province’s walk back of some of the safety provisions passed last year in Bill 5.
Until Aug. 31, Albertans will be able to go to any Kal Tire location and have their vehicle identification number engraved on their catalytic converter for $40, which is at cost for Kal Tire.
