Redding officers identified in deadly shooting on Cypress Avenue Bridge The Redding Police Department on Wednesday released the names of the three officers involved in a fatal police shooting last month. The officers involved in the Feb. 7 shooting were officers Jeremiah Kasinger, Nate Sweeney and Brett Leonard, who also was involved in two prior fatal shootings in the past three years, according to Redding police Sgt.
