Article content More than 40 years after the Maze Mall first opened in downtown Belleville, a new investors’ group has acquired the property at 232 Front Street and is already moving to transform the once-popular destination into a vibrant new addition to the downtown. The group closed its purchase offer last week and began removing the brown cladding that has covered the yellow-bricked façade since the siding was first installed in the mid-1970s as part of the mini-mall reno at the time.
