Ventura's ATLAS Elementary to become K-8 school East Ventura will soon get a kindergarten through eighth grade school at Academy of Technology and Leadership at Saticoy — widely known as ATLAS Elementary. On Tuesday, the Ventura Unified School District board voted 4-1, with a dissenting vote from Trustee Matt Almaraz, to add grades six to eight at the elementary school.
