There's a shortage of beds and health workers to provide care In Newfoundland and Labrador. It means facilities that provide higher levels of care can't also accept people, like Jim Wolfrey, who don't require as much help. So, in their mid-80s, the Wolfreys are forced to live apart.
Jim and Theresa Woolfrey are happily married but separated, in different care facilities — one in St. John's, the other in Paradise.
