Reliance Jio, the largest telecom company in the country, has discontinued its cheapest data plan, priced at Rs 119. The move is seen as a strategy to boost the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). The new cheapest plan is now priced at Rs 149 and offers 1GB of daily data, unlimited calling, and 100 daily SMS. It also includes access to Jio s Suite apps but does not offer unlimited 5G data benefits.
