Law firms turn to court for R16m owed by state attorney
Two law firms have issued summonses againstIN TOMORROW'S DAILY DISPATCH:for outstanding fees totalling about R16m. In 2018 the caretaker head of the Mthatha state attorney office retained Qonce-based Notshe Attorneys and Pretoria firm Ndou Van Greunen, among other non-Mthatha firms, to deal with the effects of under-staffing within the office — allegedly endemic corruption, fraud and wasteful expenditure.
