The woman, identified as 29-year-old Taylor Kahle, had just eaten dinner in the city's downtown and was walking home with a friend when she was struck, the San Diego Police Department said, according to NBC 7. Kahle died at the scene, according to police, and the man who jumped later died at the hospital. He has not been identified.
